Banatic (noun)
A slight pun on the word "fanatic". A Banatic is a person that is supportive, widely interested or fanatically frenzied about the Actor, Eric Bana.
Home of the Banatics
We are deep rooted Fans of Eric Bana. Some of us didn't start out that way, but now we are all Banatics. We are an international group of diverse members, located all over the world.
We all come together and socialize in Our Forum, which we call 'The Home of the Banatics'. Our Forum is in English, but we have sections that are in German, Spanish and Italian.
You can meet a lot of interesting and mature members in Our Group. Who are all ages and from all walks of life.
Our Community is very friendly and we have lots of fun joking around with each other. We don't take ourselves that seriously.
We always find out that we have so many other things in common with other Eric Bana fans, that we always end up becoming friends. Sometimes we even meet in person in different locations all over the world.
The Banatics are without a doubt, the best bunch of people that you'll ever meet!
Forum Membership
We are always excepting new members to Our 'Little' Community. If you would like to join Our discussions about Eric Bana. Please follow these instructions to join Our Forum.
It looks like a lot of long complicated instructions, but it's not really. We just go step by step because we have many members that are not computer savvy and we like to include them.
First you must have a valid account with Runboard.com (they host Our Little Community Forum) and it's free.
To get a free Runboard account go to Runboard.com:
Once you're at the Runboard.com home page, click on "Open Account". Type in a "Login" name (this will also be your Banatic username) and fill out the rest of the form. Then click on "Create My Account". You will receive a verification email asking you to verify that your email address is valid. Open it and click on the link provided.
You only have to post one time in order to become a member of the Banatic Forum. Once your Runboard Account has been created and verified, go to Banatic's Forum web site and click on a Forum topic. You will now see a list of topics under the category that you clicked on. Now all you have to do is make your first post!
To do that, look to the left of the Board, under "Last Post" you will see a double arrow. Once you click on that double arrow it will take you to the last post of the discussion. This is so you do not have to flip through all the pages of the thread, every time you post.
Now click on the "Add a Reply" link and you are ready to type in your first post. Remember you must be logged into Runboard in order to post anything. Type something in and then click on the "Submit Reply" button and you're now a member!
Please post a "Hello" in the introduction thread.
We would like to get to know you as we are a friendly Community.

About the Staff Members
Stephanie, the lovely webmaster at EBC.com, created the name "Banatics" when her web site went online in 2003. Our Forum was already in existence back then, but there were hardly any members. So she gave Our Forum the name that she created " The Banatics" and began promoting it on her web site in the year 2004. Once that happened we all found each other and we never left and now we are "The Banatics"!
We have two Administrators or as we call them Admins: Steph and me, my name is Christy and I am also the webmaster of Eric Bana Archives.com. Yup, two of us Admins both have Eric Bana web sites. Imagine that?

We are a Private Community Forum so we reserve the right to ban any member from reading or speaking in Our Forum based on a decision made by Our Staff. Once you are banned from Our Community, you may never return.

We call it the 'No-Brainer' Rule, that's the fastest way out the door. If you want to do it, you're in the wrong place for sure.

No Personal Attacks, No Flaming, Insulting, Degrading posts to other members. We don't mind heated debates, but if you're a mean spirited person, you won't last with us. We only like to have nice mature members.

We are an international community, so racists and rednecks are definitely not welcome here.
- No Bad Language!
Language that could be inappropriate or offensive. Please keep it clean, this is an all-age Forum.
